The Jagannath College Teachers’ Affiliation (JUB) has once again declared a strike,

Requesting the withdrawal of the unfair retirement notice issued by the Service of Fund, incorporation of college instructors in the guaranteed super review, and execution of a person pay scale for teachers.

 

According to the Bangladesh College Teachers’ Affiliation Alliance’s already reported program, the Jagannath College Teachers’ Affiliation reported.

 

The program through a circular on Monday (June 24).

The circular states that since no successful activity has been taken with respect to the withdrawal of the biased retirement notice issued by the Service of Fund, incorporation of college instructors in the guaranteed super review, and usage of person pay scale for instructors,

A half-day strike will be held on June 25, 26 and 27 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Amid this time, a dharna program will be organized in front of the university’s Bhasha Shahid Rafiq Bhaban each day from 12 noon to 1 pm. Examinations ought to be kept free from the scope of the program.

 

On this day,

the location program will run from 12 noon to 1 pm, but examinations will be exempt from it.

The notice, too, states that open colleges will be on a full strike from July 1 until the requests are met.
